Happy thursday everyone I hope evryone is having a great week. It's been a great week my oldest son turned 26 I dont know where time has gone. We have been busy at work which is really a good thing . So in between everything I have been trying to included some scrapbooking. It's been a lot of fun getting stuff done, i really have missed it. i hope you have a great wekend !
well i finally got back into scrapbooking. my life was a little busy last year , but it has been calling me back . i was looking through my new scrapbook Magazine Scrapbook & Cards today and i saw a layout that inspired me by Lisa Truesdell . she did a page with a grid sewn on it. i was so inspired i loved the idea . so above is my version and i have to admit i had so much fun doing it . i love this picture of taylor and Gary it was on the day they got engaged. i still have to journal i'm waiting for her to help me with the details but i think it captures their relationship. they are a fun loving couple that like to laugh and they are so in love. thanks for stopping by !
lilly bee is one of my favorite paper line and dont even get me started on their embellishments ! on the first page "i'll always love you " i used head over heels paper line and the embellishment sticker sheet.
on the "merry christmas page i used the christmas cheer paper line and christmas cheer journaling cards. i have been into paper folding and piecing lately i have had so much fun getting back to my scrapbooking .
i finally finished a page. it's been a long time coming .i had so much fun scrapping with friends last night and the best part about it was all the laughing. i cant believe we all got anything accomplished ! anyway i'm a big fan of lilly bee it makes me so happy , this line is called buttercup. when i see my girls i hug them and say " hello beautiful " it's just something i do to remind them i think they are beautiful. growing up can be hard i think it's important to give some extra encouragement and let them know how special they are to me . happy scrapping !
The past year has been really busy. A graduation for my daughter Carley from George Mason Univerisity !!! My daughter Taylor graduated from high school , had her last ballet recital and married her best friend Gary. my year has been a full one but it has been a blessing to watch carley and taylor both turn into beautiful young ladies i love them both so much .
i haven't scrapbooked much but it's calling me back. i loved this hobby and the wonderful people i have been blessed to meet and have a lifelong friendship with , with that being said i'm off to my scrapbook room for the day !
I can't wait for warmer weather. This layout reminds me of when these pictures were taken in early spring. The girls love to play outside and I love the quiet that comes with them being outside ! I love reading outside when the weather is nice and I love the windows open so we can have all that fresh air ... so come on mother nature give us a break !
